Description

With its user-friendly functions, smooth ceramic glass surface, and multiple industry-leading certifications, the True Induction TI-1B is one of the best and safest cooktops on the market. Unlike most other single-burner cooktops that can only be used on the countertop, the TI-1B comes with a UL858 certification, allowing it to be installed directly into any countertop safely. This cooktop is ideal for boats, indoor/outdoor kitchens, apartments, RVs, tiny homes, or even as a portable unit—the possibilities for installation are endless. True Induction's high-efficiency cooktop utilizes magnetic-based technology that energizes the molecules in the cookware to generate heat. This process is extremely energy-efficient, as the cooktop itself does not produce heat. Instead, it concentrates heat directly in your cookware, allowing food to cook faster while using less power. The optimal cookware for this induction cooktop has a flat bottom, a diameter between 4.5 to 10 inches, and must be magnetic. To determine if your cookware is compatible, simply grab a magnet; if it sticks to the bottom of the pan, it will work with the cooktop. The most common types of induction-compatible cookware include stainless steel, cast iron, and enamel-coated steel. To install this cooktop into your countertop, the cutout dimensions will be 11 3/8" W x 13 3/4" L. (PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION MANUAL & DO NOT MAKE ANY CUTS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR COOKTOP)
