Additional features of this Cuisinart kettle include a stay-cool nonslip handle, a lid release button, a blue backlit water window with measurement marks, a concealed heating element to prevent mineral buildup, and a removable, washable scale filter. The Cuisinart tea kettle features a dripless pour spout and boil-dry protection with auto shutoff to provide safety and ease of use.
